Vanderheyden Hall is a nonprofit agency serving children and families. Day, residential, educational, clinical, recreational, health, life skills, and respite programs are provided for children and young adults. Community programs assist families with in-home, wrap-around services, including respite, education, support, and resources. Vanderheyden Hall's family ranges in age from 6 years old through to adults. Some youths have been abused or neglected, some have learning or developmental disabilities, some have emotional disturbances. Youths are referred voluntarily by individuals or public agencies such as Family Court. Families with children at risk of being placed or who have behavioral or emotional difficulties receive support to help them remain together and healthy.
