General Information
Description of ServiceThis mobile crisis service assists individuals of all ages through mental health and substance abuse crises by providing them with alternative community services. They also provide telephone consultation and information to family/adults experiencing crisis and also professionals who are working with such individuals. Face-to-face crisis assessments is performed after screening of appropriateness. Crisis intervention and stabilization services can be given on-site at the individual’s location in the community. Care management follow-up is used specifically to facilitate transition from crisis intervention and stabilization to other agencies in the community for ongoing treatment and support. If individual require additional evaluation for inpatient treatment; referrals to services are available to them, such as outpatient mental health services, emergency department, housing, child services, etc.
